Blog 164 – Saturday, June 13, 2009 Sunny but, partly cloudy, temperatures in the low 90’s.
Celebrating our anniversaries tonight, we enjoyed the homemade ice cream cake (see Blog 163). It was definitely a confection that will be served again, French vanilla-vanilla – it was a perfect end to a wonderful meal, Roger having Bar-B-Q’d two juicy racks of ribs, complimented by Donna’s potatoes au gratin and sweet corn on the cob, served with a crisp green salad, topped with Larrison-grown Beefsteak tomatoes –straight off the vine. Dining in is always a pleasure – good food and good friends. Tonight was no exception and, with two games of Canasta completing the evening, it could not have been better. Now, what can we celebrate next?
