Blog 165 – Sunday, June 14, 2009 Sunny and humid with scattered showers and temperatures in the 90’s. No real rain here.
Davis Island was beautiful today. The watercraft moving quietly and slowing in the channel, the palms swaying in the breeze – hot and steady. The venue for our god- daughter’s wedding is a picturesque one. The outside porch off the party room looked romantic with the sheers moving gently as wind softly caught them, the gazebo – site of the ceremony, just beyond the walkway, shone brightly with promise. After several hours of note making, measuring, and deliberating, I think the bride and groom were satisfied and relieved – another phase of wedding planning was complete. We all have a better idea what needs to be done next and everyone left with tasks assigned and accepted. The vision is taking shape and November is on the horizon.
